Raven was the first Court Hunter, surviving a term of two years in Maratha.
History:
Six years ago, after Hunters became established and accepted in Maratha, a woman walked into Court. How she eluded every single guard in the castle remains a mystery to this day; she entered the great hall as if she owned it and without announcement or apology — or so much as a glance for the guards — crossed to stand behind the throne, but two steps to Elora's left. She wore armor with the rough and well-worn look of Hunter equipment, and the sigil of a raven at her throat; when challenged, she offered only the name 'Raven' and the explanation 'I am your Hunter.' For two years she was a fixture of the court, coming and going as she pleased, answering to no one — not even Queen Elora herself. Then she fell, defending the castle from tainted attack, leaving only story and song behind.
If anyone ever knew where Raven came from, or what her true name was, they have never said. Neither is anything known about the Hunter who arrived but two weeks after Raven's death to take her place.
