The eldest scion of House Handernesse, Phaedra vanished without a trace four years ago.
History:
Though the eldest child of Handernesse blood, Phaedra was never really in the running to lead the House; her brother always had more patience for that sort of thing. The plan was for Phaedra to be an assistant, a second of command to Rymark, and the plan had been progressing along nicely — including her engagement to a lesser member of an allied House — right up until the day Phaedra vanished. One morning, she was just gone. None of her possessions were disturbed or missing; there was no sign that she had planned to run away nor that someone had abducted her. No body, nor any other evidence of her death, was ever found. Not even the mages with their seeking spells were able to shed light on her disappearance — though that, in and of itself, suggests something horribly tainted was involved…
