Peter na'Soare is one of the older mages at the academy; he doesn't teach much, being far more interested in research.

Personality:

Peter is the sort of older, scatterbrained professor that manages to unknowingly endear himself to his students, and is a source of affectionate exasperation (or plain old exasperation) to many of his colleagues. His only real focus is studying the comet's power; not much else makes an impression. He's known for mixing up students' names, but at least he remembers all of his research assistants — and usually gets birthdays more or less correct. Once upon a time, he was married — as evidenced by the fact of his granddaughter Indira — but he doesn't say much about that part of his life.
