Geraint is an apothecary and a skilled herbalist with a solid reputation in Maratha. Those who need medical help, potions, tinctures, ointments, etc., will have good cause to seek him out.
Description:
Short and very thin, this man has the dark features native to the Istrians. Because his shoulders are so narrow, his head gives the unfortunate impression of being a bit too large for his body, though his face is handsome enough if one likes symetry. Dark skin is complemented by vivid, large grey eyes evenly set to either side of a bold nose. His mouth is small and his lips thin, but both are expressive, moving in speech and silence alike. Dark hair with an unruly wave caps his head, kept short enough that it cannot be tied back, it is nevertheless long enough to cover his ears. Perhaps because he stands only a few inches above five feet, he carries himself with an erect precision that makes the most of his limited vertical status.
History:
Geraint moved to Maratha when he was seven, about a year before the village of his birth, Stoneybrook, imploded…one of the five towns in the fringe to self-destruct. He has a sister who was infected by the taint and killed when they were both teenagers. For his part, Geraint has shown no signs of the comet's infection and has taken up his mother's profession, that of herbalist and apothecary. He keeps a small stall in the Bizarre Square where he works to support himself and his invalid father.
