Galen na'Tobin is regarded as one of the most accomplished mages of his generation — and an able administrator for the academy.
Summary:
As a rule, Galen is remarkably laid-back — even when a gaggle of fledgling mages are out causing chaos. It's pretty much a requirement for his position. However, he's also remarkably well-informed — it seems like nothing, but nothing, in the academy happens without his finding out. Assuming he didn't know when it happened, or even before. Come to think of it, he also seems to know more than one person should about events in Maratha at large. Occasionally an unsettling fact, but also very useful — even if it makes one wonder who (or what?) his sources are. As for magic, well… he only ever seems to use it when something really big is in the works.
