Delilah is a young street rat who's taken on the responsibility of looking after several other otherwise unclaimed youths.
History:
For most of her childhood, Delilah was raised by her grandmother. When the old woman died, she had no other relatives to take her in; she was on her own with no companion but her cat, Sprite. That solitude didn't last long, as Del encountered others in similar straits and cobbled them together into a 'den' which centered itself around her leadership. Fast-forward three years after the old woman's death, and they've settled into their own territory of sorts, generally stealing what they need — but priding themselves on the fact that they steal only to survive, and not also 'for fun'.
Despite the hazards of street life — not only the watch, weapon-happy citizens, and rivals, but encounters with stray tainted that get past the walls or skulk in the shadows — Sprite's still with Del; never far away, in fact. He also doesn't seem to have been affected much by the passing of three years, neither in spryness, nor attitude, nor in the glimpses of intelligence he occasionally shows. Truth is, the cat is level-1 Tainted…
Skills and Weaknesses
Del has pretty much the abilities of any surviving street rat — a decent thief, a better pickpocket, good at sneaking about and running away. Her taint is purely latent; it confers no extra abilities.
Sprite is a bit on the large side as cats go, even for a tom, but lean, most of his body being wiry muscle and sturdy bone. He's a bit more intelligent than he should be, but still very much a cat — which is to say, selfish, self-centered, and prone to appearing and disappearing as he pleases. His claws carry a mildly hemotoxic venom, guaranteed to hurt a lot and leave scars.
