Polite and outgoing this friendly boy is quite likely to walk up and say hello to a friend. One thing which is always guaranteed to spark his attention however is speaking of something magical. New or old, as long as he doesn’t know how it is done anything magical will catch this child’s attention. It is just not magic however that catches this boy’s eye exploring new things, new ideas, and learning about the world around him. It is the first time he hasn’t been directly under his families care and learning how the world works and more importantly why is something which will easily distract him from his proper tasks.
Description:
This is a boy of around ten years of age. Rather short with a slight build, he is a few years away from puberty still retaining the normal babyfat of childhood. His dusky skin is slightly tanned. He gazes out at the world through blue eyes. Though free of cruelty, they hold great deal of mischief as well as natural curiosity. His shoulder length blonde hair currently hangs free completely unbound spilling this way and that over his ears, and eyes.
This lad's clothing is quite simple, at least the part which may be seen. He wears a simple light blue robe which covers him up from neck down. The sleeves are rather loose allowing for easy movement. On his feet a simple pair of matching blue sandals may be seen.
History:
The past is a blank slate for the most part, what is it that nine year old boys under the close supervision of their parents can really do? Add in the watchful eyes of cousins, uncles and aunts? Benjamin hasn’t been in any trouble in the past. That is not to say his family does not have any history. He comes from a family of mages they breed with other mages creating a magical dynasty for themselves creating a place for themselves in the world.
This has given Benjamin a head start in the world knowing that he has a spot in it. He has been groomed to have the curiosity and mindset of a scholar. To learn and explore all things relating to magic is his family’s mandate for him. Providing the tools such as learning how to read and write as well as his numbers at an early age. Running around, climbing trees along with playing with other children are not things he has done a great deal of.
Most recently however he has been given the offical test and it is no surprise he has been gifted with magic. He has moved into the Mage Academy and has now just truly started on his path.
IC Occurrences:
A short scene at the docks in which Benjamin was enjoying his birthday. The question arose as to what the glyphs on the docks were for. Indria and Benjamin decided it must be some sort of protection ward and after obtaining a small knife stabbed the decks.
